A renovated 1920s weatherboard that showcases how effective space planning can keep the footprint tight but functional. The home also includes solar hot water, rainwater and untreated greywater for toilet flushing and garden watering. (more)

Extension to include bedroom, bathroom, and laundry, kitchen/living/dining and study area to link to covered external dining area. Featuring use of secondhand timbers, double glazing, water efficient fittings and energy efficient lighting. The garden is watered by a 2,500 litre raintank. (more)
